Focus scripture: Philippians 4:7 NIV

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

When you read this scripture did you wonder why it states 'guard your heartS and your mindS...' ? What's with the 's'? I only have one mind and one heart, right? Is God referring to our heart and mind before being in Christ Jesus and our heart and mind after being in Christ Jesus? As much as we want to not be we can still be affected by the things that happened BEFORE accepting, receiving, and following in the way of Christ Jesus...The guard, the protection, the shield blocks some affects that may be out to destroy you. Being in Christ Jesus, protected in Christ Jesus.... Shielded in Christ Jesus...Peace does that... Peace gives what nothing else can... In peace in Christ Jesus know that it is working for your good.... Take peace...
